Is Your Organization Eligible?

Organizations eligible to apply for the Impact100 Macomb County grant must:

  • Be classified as a “Public Charity” with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code

  • Be in possession of just-prepared external financial reviews for submission if the revenues of the nonprofit are less than $525k for the most recent prior year; if revenue is over $525K, audited statements are required for submission

  • Maintain operating budget at $250,000

Note: More than one organization may collaborate with others on a project, but each organization must meet the above criteria.

Projects eligible for the Impact100 Macomb County grant must:

  • Predominantly serve residents of Macomb County

  • Have a measurable high impact on beneficiaries

  • Demonstrate a sustainable plan

  • Meet minimum budget requirements

  • Expend the funds within 36 months

Note: Impact 100 Macomb County will not provide grants for: debt reduction; relief of operating deficits; interim or bridge funding; endowment funding; individuals or private foundations; activities that are partisan, legislative, or political in nature; fraternal, sectarian, or religious organizations, unless the project benefits the broader community; fund drives; annual appeals; fundraising events; or general capital campaigns unrelated to a specific project.

LETTER OF INTENT PROCESS

July 10: 2026 Membership Closes

July 20: Big Reveal of our 2026 Grant Award Announcement!

July 20: Letter of Intent Available to Nonprofit Applicants

TBD: Virtual Grant Application Information Session for Nonprofits

July 31: Deadline for Letter of Intent Submission (Midnight)

August 3-5: Nonprofits Will Be Contacted Regarding Next Steps

GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS

August 7: Grant Application Available to Nonprofits Who Meet Criteria

September 4: Deadline for Grant Application Submission (Midnight)

September - October: Impact100 Macomb Reviews Applications, Conducts Site Visits

October 9: Finalists Submitted to Board

October 14: Ratification of Finalists with Board

GRANT AWARD PROCESS

October 15-17: Nonprofits Notified of Status

November TBD: 2026 Grant Award Night!
