Join us for a Galentine’s Day special event at J. Baldwin’s Restaurant. We will be learning how to build a charcuterie board with Food Network Star, Chef Gabriella Baldwin.! You will create and take home your own charcuterie board. Cost is $45 + tax. (Normally this is priced at $65 but Impact member, Rose Baldwin, has given us a discounted rate).

The most important night of the year will be on November 9th at Cherry Creek Golf Club. The evening will include presentations from our grant finalists, food and drinks (cash bar), raffle prizes, and fun times with this community of woman we have built. Voting for our 2023 grant winner will take place during the event and the grant winner will be announced at the end of the night!

Our 2023 Finalists are:

• The Rainbow Connection – Health & Wellness

• LifeLab Kids – Environmental Category

• Families Against Narcotics – Family Category

• Gianna House – Education Category

Registration begins at 5:30 pm. Program starts at 6:00 pm. You can purchase either a single ticket at $50 or a table of 10 at $500. The table will guarantee you a reserved table at the event. The rest are on a first come basis.

Please join us for a private cooking demonstration on September 27th at 6pm at Testa Barra in Macomb. The class will include a 4 course dinner featuring the Best of Baldwin's recipes as well as paired wines/cocktails. The cost for this event is $70 which includes gratuity.

Join us for a special night at Vino & Vibes in Utica Benefiting “A Girl Like Me”. Entry is $10 due at the door. Purse Purge is organized and hosted by Impact100 member Kelly Lawrence.

Please fill a gently used purse with toiletries/baby items/soaps/etc. and bring to the event.

A Girl Like Me Inc is a (501(c)3) located in Detroit, MI. Our mission is to educate and encourage Girls, Teens, Teen Moms, and Young Moms between the ages of 11 to 25 to make healthy life choices. 

A Girl Like Me Inc. started as an exceedingly small, grassroots effort, with funding primarily from donations, selling t-shirts, and personal investments. A Girl Like Me Inc. looks forward to providing at risk, low income teenage girls, ages 11-17 and also young mom’s up to 25 who may not have any family or friend support in the community with the education, resources, support, mentoring, and basic needs necessary to help them make educated decisions about their reproductive health and their future.

 Movie Marathon is Back!

Enjoy a day of movie fun to help grant wishes! Tickets include up to 5 first-run films, plus unlimited pop and popcorn! So grab a friend, bring a blanket, and settle in for a day of movie fun at Emagine Macomb!

Check-In Opens at 8:30 AM

Late Check-In will be available for guests arriving after the first movie. We will have schedules printed out for you to have for the day. There is no need to print off any receipts or tickets.

How does it work?

We have two private theatres that will show a lineup of 5 first run movies. You can switch between those two theatres throughout the day! There is no assigned seating, so it is first come first serve.
