Meet our Board of Directors

The Impact 100 Macomb County's volunteer Board of Directors is made up of women across many areas of expertise. They are also all founding members and  contribute significant amounts of time, talent, and energy to further the mission of the organization.

pamela Braund

Impact 100 Macomb

Pamela Braund has served on several impactful and community based organizations.  She was on the board, executive board, and cost and use board for the Greater Flint Health Coalition that was instrumental driving transparency and community support in the Flint Water Crisis. Pam also served on the board of Clawson branch of the Southeast YWCA.  Currently Pam holds an executive position at a health care organization.

Sondra pedigo

Impact 100 Macomb

Sondra Pedigo joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in 2001. She currently is serving as the vice president of health reform for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.  Sondra also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greening of Detroit. She strives to make a meaningful difference in both her employer community and in her residential community.

Deanna baker

Impact 100 Macomb

Deanna Baker has been working for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan since 2006 in the Middle & Small Group business area in an administrative capacity. She holds several degrees including a Bachelor of Science in History from Central Michigan University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies (Paralegal), Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Post-Baccalaureate in Project Management and Planning from Baker College of Auburn Hills. Currently, she is working on her Masters of Business Administration at Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, which is expected to be completed in 2018. She is a member of the Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) national academic honor society for paralegal students and a member of the Baker College of Auburn Hills Paralegal Advisory Board. Deanna Baker lives in Clarkston, Michigan.

Sandy Fester is passionate about having an opportunity to serve on a board that gives back to the county where she was born and raised.  She has spent her whole life in Macomb County and is committed. Currently Sandy holds an executive position at a health care organization.  Sandy lives in Washington Township, Michigan.

cynthia filipovich

Impact 100 Macomb

Cynthia Filipovich is chair of the Appellate Practice at Clark Hill. She specializes in appellate practice with an emphasis on federal courts of appeals nationwide. Her practice also includes trial litigation, including complex commercial litigation, and products liability disputes. Cynthia has been selected by her peers as a dBusiness magazine Top Lawyer in Appellate Practice and has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer in Appellate Practice since 2013.

jennifer kluge

Jennifer Kluge is the President and Chief Executive Officer of several business units including the Michigan Business & Professional Association, now known as MichBusiness, and its sister organizations, the Michigan Food & Beverage Association (MFBA) and the National Association for Business Resources (NABR).  Jennifer is also the owner and publisher of Corp! Magazine.

Ursula C. Scroggs, CPA

Impact 100 Macomb

Ursula joined Derderian, Kann, Seyferth & Salucci, P.C. in 1973 and progressed with the firm to her current position as President and Director. In addition to this role, she works with businesses and their owners in all areas of planning, financial management, tax consulting and performance improvement.

lisa vandervord

Impact 100 Macomb

Lisa has lived in various cities of Macomb County all of her life. She holds an MBA and a B.S. in Human Resources Management from Oakland University.  She has nearly 15 years experience working in Human Resources in a variety of industries. Her concentration was on training and development, compensation and recruitment. She is now focused on raising her family and lives in Shelby Township with her husband and four children.
